The Original Musicians
The
Lightfoot Band
Not a tribute act. Not a clone band. The original musicians who recorded and toured with Gordon Lightfoot for decades — keeping his music alive.
These are the musicians who were there — in the studio, on the stage, and on the road — for decades with Gordon Lightfoot.
The Lightfoot Band are the original band members that recorded the many memorable hits and toured internationally with the late great Gordon Lightfoot, across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and beyond.
The band includes veterans Rick Haynes on bass, Barry Keane on drums and percussion, Mike Heffernan on keyboards, and Bill Bell on lead guitars.
The Lightfoot Band is proud to introduce Andy Mauck as their lead vocalist. Playing a Martin D18 6-string guitar and Gibson B45 12-string — just like Gord did — Andy has been a student of Gord's craft as well as his personal friend for almost 50 years.
Together, they are now keeping Gordon's music alive. Playing the hits and some deeper cuts not heard live for decades. Band members will also share history and "stories of the road," and will be available to meet the audience after shows.
