Join us at Creative Nomad Studios at 7:00 PM, Friday October 31 for another evening of ‘Memories and Music’ of Gordon Lightfoot, Master of Ceremonies is none other than Orillia’s own Linda Leatherdale, a seasoned freelance columnist and financial commentator. Among this year’s panelists will be all five members of The Lightfoot Band (Rick Haynes, Barry Keane, Michael Heffernan, Carter Lancaster, and Andy Mauck), Gord’s longtime booking agent and close friend Bernie Fiedler, one of Canada’s most respected music journalists and Lightfoot biographer Nicholas Jennings, former sportscaster & broadcaster Ken ‘Jiggs’ McDonald, Wanda Hawkins, wife of ‘Rompin’ Ronnie Hawkins, and John U. Bacon, award-winning author of The Gales of November: The Untold Story of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Others may be added closer to the festival. Musical performances by Steve Porter and other local musicians too.
